SERPLAN: DRAFT REGIONAL GUIDANCE FOR 2001-2016

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the SERPLAN Co-ordination Group continues to develop points of agreement across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight whilst participating in the drafting of regional guidance.
1. The Association at its last meeting urged Council Leaders to attend the SERPLAN briefing on 5 March. Councillor Paula Baker has provided a report back (Annex A).
2. A summary of council responses to the SERPLAN "pre-consultation" draft "Sustainable Development Strategy for the South East" is given in Annex B. This paper was prepared by the Development Plans Group of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Planning Officers Group.
3. The SERPLAN Co-ordination Group, established at the last meeting of the Association held one meeting on 19 March and an oral report will be made.
